5. You're abosolutely right. While dining out on business,

the restaurant had been told to give us the red carpet treatment. The manager came to our table to greet us personally, and when we were ready to leave, he re-appeared, wished us a good night, and escorted us out. Escorting isn't done by restaurant staff, being human crutches is!

9. Well, if he was drinking regarding that, it was more likely to celebrate instead of forget.
He knew full well that the POTUS would have appointed as many as 3 judges in those 8 years, and wanted Repukes on the court.

8. Why else?
Try, bad knees? Balance problems? Both common, for 'older,' and somewhat overweight, individuals.

Let's NOT make this one into another "Michelle went to expensive Spain" story, please.

15. Baloney. I fell about 4 years ago
on a dry,level sidewalk.

Never did figure out what made me fall but I sure as hell wasn't drunk.

Your assumption is ridiculous.

16. One fall does not make a problem.
Not everything that happens to you is indicative of something else.

20. You noticed it was the manager?
Also my dad does not drink, and a few times he's been escorted to the door by staff since he is quite aged.

Look I don't like Scalia, but I don't need to make up crap either.

24. And??? Re-read what I wrote
my dad is escorted regularly by staff. You think people will not escort a VIP?

Oh never mind, we need to make crap up to live up to what we believe things should be.

I DO NOT like Scalia, no need for crap quite made up on the internets, and that is the point.

22. Who cares?
Really? I haven't read the story so not sure if he was on the clock when the incident took place, and then that's another story, but who cares? The man might've drank and slipped. Or he might have been sober and slipped. Who cares.
