Involuntary part-time workers, 2006-2008

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, "almost 90% of the increase during the past year was the result of employers reducing worker hours." These folks, incidentally, don't show up in the unemployment numbers. Technically, they're employed. But only technically. They're not working enough hours to support their families and they're generally not receiving health care or pension benefits. It's a bad scene.

So, Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy did not translate to more jobs. So how can Repubs like Boehner tell us to our faces that they will?
