Or gay-rights measures that had been approved by the voters?

Or measures legalizing medical marijuana?

5. The Constitution trumps all, even voters
Always has. The nation was built that way...the constitution is in place to guard against the tyranny of the majority. If you don't like the constitution, change it, but crying about voter's rights being ignored just shows how little you know about the country and the ideals it was founded on.
