2. you are right...however,my paper has printed 2 editorials in the last week

without printing a rebuttal(And,yes..it was written)...I am attempting once more to write it.sigh...I have seen the ones who suffer because of this mindset....my patients...it is inhumane.

7. not ones who have had too many young patients die because of lack of care

-for example-
One Christmas...I had 5 pregnant women on ventillators...all with pneumonia and "stiff lungs".The nurses all chipped in and got some little gifts for their other kids,as the dads were too distraught(yes,poor love their families,too).We lost 2 moms Christmas eve,1 on Christmas,and 2 after Christmas.that is the health care these people want.....until they find themselves in that situation.

May not be perfect and definitely fell short of what I expected. It would have been better if rather than obstructing and telling outright lies about it, people from both sides had sat down and discussed it objectively and sincerely. It would have definitely been a much better piece of legislation. But that is not the way of those who either lack foresight or operate out of fear of change operate is it.

I have cared for more patients with no healthcare insurance(Or healthcare,for that matter) than I care to mention.This doesn't even begin to count the Medicare and Medicaid patients.I have had so many die or become permanently disabled because they had no access to care,medications,or tests that might have saved their lives.This is the Hippocratic Oath you claim to support?How sad and tragic for our nation.
