Senator McCaskill:

After what will be about 10 months of needless waiting the Senate is scheduled to have an up or down vote on the nomination of Jane Stranch on September 13th 2010. This will occur of course unless a single Senator objects. It should be clear that the minority party is seeking to obstruct by delay.

What is needed is accountability and leadership, the type that the current Majority Leader is unwilling to provide. I again, for the 33rd time, ask you to prod the Majority leader to file for cloture on future nominees instead of allowing the children to play with scissors as they do further damage to our system of Justice.
