Setting the Stage for Investigations of Obama
This is a huge area where the Democratic leadership falls flat.
Just as Bill Clinton paid a heavy price for not investigating the crimes of Iran/Contra so too will Barack Obama (should the House change over) for failing to go after the Bush/Cheney War Crime Syndicate.

GOP House Members Are Setting the Stage for Investigations of Obama
MONDAY, AUGUST 2, 2010

President Barack Obama has stubbornly taken a "look forward, not backwards" philosophy to possible criminal acts during the Bush administration. But Republicans are sending signals that they will not take such an approach if they are able to win back the U.S. House of Reprsentatives in the November elections.

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) is strongly indicating that he will launch numerous investigations of the Obama administration if he becomes chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Issa already has raised questions about possible White House interference in U.S. Senate races in Pennsylvania and Colorado. In a recent interview with The Washington Post, Issa made it clear that aggressive investigations are coming if he replaces Rep. Edolphus Towns (D-NY) as chair of the Oversight Committee.

Regular Americans could wind up paying a huge economic price for Obama's timidity.

1. Perhaps, if we'd gone after the corrupt pukes, exposed their crimes, and imprisoned them
They would be able to do this now.

But I'm no chess player...

3. And if he does cause confusion about the Pennsylvania race all
they have to do is go after Rove for the three people he got to drop out of campaigns for Bush. And Cheney personally called Phewlenty and asked him to let Coleman have a clear field here in Minnesota. Cheney made no bones about it. So issa pissa hasn't a leg to stand on.

6. More the surreal "liberal media" ...
when the dems were certain to the the house, the Rs were squeeling like stuck pigs about how all the Ds wanted to do was conduct PARTISAN investigations Bushco, and Pelosi et all, of course were made to promise that they would not, and they did not ...

NOW, the Rs are foaming at the mouth to start doing Clinton part deux, engaging in deranged shot gun investigations to try to find ANYTHING to bring BO down ...

And the media ...

Well ...
