Reason? They allowed a right-wing fuckwit by the name of Jane Norton to host a party there. (She is running for the R nomination for US Senate for Colorado - fortunately she is wasting money because her polls show that she's losing big). Campaign posters were plastered all over near the front door - it made me puke - looks like only 10 people showed up for that so far (AFAIK - the party was starting)

That, and they had elephant on their children's menu to color.

I'm not sure if the owners are Thugs, but one thing for sure - it'll be a long time before I go back.

The food was good though. We kept it simple - classic pasta which we got extras to take home.

1. don't people rent out places for things like that all the time ? call and ask if you can host a
Democratic event and see what they say. it might just be about making money, not partisan. see what they to you

2. well, I did rent a space from Racine's - a very well known liberal hangout
for the DNC convention - they had no problem with it.

Maybe I'm jumping the shark, however, I didn't plaster DU GUYS HERE!!!!111111 all over the place like the jackasses did.

3. They had elephant on the children's menu?
I dunno. Kids are picky eaters.

But I'm sure BIG pitchers of Koolaide were provided to every table.

4. I'd gladly take her money if I were the owner, regardless of my political leanings.
It's not as though I'd be contributing to her campaign. Just taking her money an I'd rather she give it to me than to a thug restaurant owner who just might use some of the $$$ to support a thug candidate.
