These people are more anti-black people than white tea-partiers....
They are African-American tea-partiers:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/04/black-tea-party-leaders-a_n_670560.html">"Democrats have re-enslaved America," said Kevin Jackson, president of the Black Conservative Coalition. He said tea party activists, if successful, would reduce the size of government and set in motion another Emancipation Proclamation, the document that President Abraham Lincoln signed that effectively ended slavery. "This time, even the white folks get freed," said Jackson, who accused Obama of viewing fellow blacks as "mongrels."

2. Don't get me started on "Black Conservatives"
I've never seen a bigger bunch of self-hating motherfuckers before in my entire life.

Only Log Cabin Republicans come close.

But at least they don't make a living out of dissing other gays, for the most part.

7. My theory on female and minority conservatives is not that it's self hatred
Most of the ones I've met are incredibly, and perversely, narcissistic. They've internalized every stereotype of their group but convince themselves that they are the rare exceptions. Antifeminist women, for example, go to great lengths to insist that they aren't like other women. I wouldn't say they are happy and well-adjusted people but I wouldn't say they hate themselves either.

9. Perhaps hatred for being part of the larger group of people who don't think as they do?
I don't think that both of our suppositions are mutually exclusive.

8. It's like Catholic Klansmembers...or Russian Skinheads
Sure I guess it happens...people join a club that hated them with a passion just a few years ago and wanted their extermination along with everyone else they hated...

12. it's perfectly legitimate for blacks to conservative...
My issue is when they resort to racially charged language and/or serve to inflame irrational fear of minorities.

13. Which is why I put it quotation marks
These people are nothing but a bunch of greedy right wing nut jobs who are happy to throw civil rights and social justice under the bus in the service of white right wing nut jobs.

They're apt to exploit the true conservative aspects of the black community (church attendance, respect of the republic) as if somehow this is opposed to our penchant for supporting civil rights and social justice.

That's where they are completely WRONG.

11. Maybe I should point him to the Tea Bag site arguing that the 14th. Amendment needs to go since it
only applies to ex-slaves and the original intent of 'citizens of the United States' applies only to white, males from the 13 colonies.
