Bike agenda spins cities toward U.N. control, Maes warns
By Christopher N. Osher
The Denver Post
Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Maes is warning voters that Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper's policies, particularly his efforts to boost bike riding, are "converting Denver into a United Nations community." :wtf:

"This is all very well-disguised, but it will be exposed," Maes told about 50 supporters who showed up at a campaign rally last week in Centennial.

Maes said in a later interview that he once thought the mayor's efforts to promote cycling and other environmental initiatives were harmless and well-meaning. Now he realizes "that's exactly the attitude they want you to have."

"This is bigger than it looks like on the surface, and it could threaten our personal freedoms," Maes said.

1. It doesn't matter what Colorado Republicans out-crazy each other
If Xenophobe is already running, then between the R's and the American Constitutional Party, it'll be a split down in the middle, giving John Hickenlooper the WIN.

Say hello to Governor Hickenlooper for the next 4 years. He's a great mayor here in Denver.

8. Damn! And we'd been so careful
But the uncommon mind of Dan Maes has ferreted out the truth. Like a pig rooting for truffles or a dung beetle spinning his own shit, Dan Maes has discovered the Hidden Bicycle Agenda. Comrades! To your pedals! Back to Havana!

11. The Maes people are really reaching for
some damage control...

The ONLY thing I can come up with as to why Maes(R) would say something so stupid is... He knows he will beat Mcinnis(R) yet with Tancredo in the race as the Constitutional... possibly trying to toss votes to Tancredo(C)???

14. Fluorodation, Mandrake
It's why I only drink grain alchohol and rain water. Commies trying to destroy the purity of my precious bodily fluids. And they gave somebody a second key to the freezer where I keep my frozen strawberries, just to play mind games with me. And somebody ate them! But I'm onto them, Mandrake.

16. When did Lance Armstrong join the UN?
Shortly after Ritter? Why are they promoting the islamic socio-communist faschist marxist nazi agenda? Why aren't we giving the rich more tax breaks! They create jobs! Social programs are bad because they take tax breaks away from the rich! Corporations are more awesome than real people! Trickle down economics mean deficits don't matter!

...

I'm sorry, I blacked out for a second. I feel like I need a shower for some reason.

18. I had to read through that a few times
and just as tweety mentioned it on tv..

Anyone ever read Robert A. Heinleins' work? His Future History take on things was that we are now in the 'crazy years' and some of the stuff he came up with was very interesting..and prophetic. I have not had time to read the story at the link just this.
