I have a thought on the ethics issues.

First off the only information I have on it comes from news.

Their was a show with Will Smiths wife in it, the ad for the TV show had her saying she had an ethics complaint, just a few weeks ago, just a side note on the possibility of group think, or a very thin chance of cabal. It may be a response to the actions also so could be opposite of the actions also.

But anyways

If the following is true.
The complaints are unfounded or targeted justice.
African American Democrats were investigated out of proportion.

Then most likely what is happening is some group, Military, CIA, Corporate interest, Centrist, or maybe some group with same thoughts on topics(cabal) is trying to make an example by going after leaders in a certain area to get people to fall in line and do what they say. Which if that is the case would be a reason not to. It really sounds like trying to do a Sun Tzu type tactic.

Really it depends on two things, are the cases credible, and is it two tier justice that is targeted and not real ethics justice.

Note that many ethics issues have not been addressed, no need to go through that list again here, but basically humanitarian violations, war crimes, and corruption at a much higher level.

It all depends if it is targeted justice or real justice. If they are the worst of the worst, so need to be cleaned up, then that would make sense, if it is a perversion of justice for other reasons, then it is just one more thing that is broken.
