on one either. Why not use "deficit fever" to demand true election/ campaign finance reform?

1. I thought this post was going to be about Dennis Kucinich.

2. It's the shortest path to reclaiming our Democracy and ending corporate influence

and it's a concise, simple message; if you can't manage with a small campaign budget , you can't manage with a small district or Federal budget either. It's the ultimate test of fiscal discipline, and who could argue against that?

12. Indeed. But don't DUers and other activists MAKE it a top issue? Do we really need
the mainstream media to tell us what's an issue and what isn't? The MSM will never talk about CRF because elections bring such huge ad revenue to them. We're on our own with this one.

9. also great commentary about Meg Whitman - if she has to spend spend spend in campaigning

how will she ever restrain herself if hoping to run the state in a budget crisis

Meg sounds like a money-spending, over-paying, under-reporting, budget-blower!

10. Old Meg is nothing more than a tool for Goldman Sachs
God forbid if she becomes the Governor of California. I may have to move to Oregon with my best friend and his wife!!!

11. Goldman Sachs has a whole lotta tools
but yes, she's one of the worst of them! And I don't think that she could run a disciplined campaign on $1 million or less.
