Auroras may be visible tonight...
A huge magnetic release from the sun on Sunday may allow the auroras to be seen as far south as 41 degrees North, think: Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Williamsport, et. al

Partly cloudy here tonight, but I'll probably check it out in a few hours.

Happy viewing!

2. Excess cloudiness is usually due to...
...too much whipped cream on the areolae.

4. Crap! I just finished dealing with the Tribbles.
I was hoping for a little respite on a pleasure planet before going back to the grind. :)

6. What time do you think?

I've seen one and live in northern MN, so it would be great to see another.

"The Northern Lights may wander as far south as Minnesota this week.

And if the sun emerges from a long cycle of inactivity, the celestial light show could become a more common sight for Minnesotans.

...

The federal government's Space Weather Prediction Center in Boulder, Colo., sent out the forecast, pointing to Tuesday or Wednesday night for the likely arrival of the aurora. Although the center didn't specifically mention the aurora's arrival in Minnesota, its forecast satellite maps show it potentially dipping into the state."

8. Probably too cloudy here in Pittsburgh tonight, we had lots of rain earlier.
I am very sad about the bad weather - I've always wanted to see the Aurora Borealis.
