I still support Rep Maxine Waters

She is not in my district, and I am a white woman.

So many years seen her stand up for the working class,
even during the Bush years when others hunkered down and didn't speak out.

I know that bills she has tried to move forward and passed has helped me as a woman and our country.

Look at her record and be amazed. And I have met her two times and she came to campaign for Ellison and she is very approachable and her staff was very helpful.

I am emailing my Rep to support her as well as my Senators.

It seems like for the past two or 3 months the majority of what i hear on the news is about Tea Party people and what they want and need. and that Palin wants and needs and what Rep Michelle Bachman wants and needs. What the idiot women on Fox News think and their viewers. Then there is a woman at work who is the only person on our team who is black and there is constant covert racism which she and I discuss.

And driving home I was listing to a radio station that was talking of the loss of the Essence Magazine and listeners were calling in talking about memories of the magazine and what it's end means to them..

I guess it all has been too much. Too much racism, too much hate.. I'm tired. When I feel were are moving forward, we roll backward.

I guess as a woman and as a white woman.. I just needed to say Rep Waters has done a lot for all of us, and she fights for all of us. I'm from Central CA where people are seriously suffering, both physically, financially, and especially emotionally. I know live in a State that that has Rep Bachman and we get to hear of her latest action of racism. and then I think of Rep Waters and how she has made things better for everyone.

6. I don't understand how she is guilty of ethics charges

All they say she really did was ask for a meeting. She didn't attend she didn't coerce anybody nothing. The four Democrats on the committee must sit on their ass and let the republicans tell them what to do. The same way they are letting the republicans rule the waves in the senate.
