I guess USA Today has little else to write about, and it is "the silly season", but c'mon...A jew marries a methodist and this is news?

Even this rather inane article points out that 1/3d of UDS marriages are "mixed", which is how they refer to differing religious background marriages, I suppose...This would have been big news in the 1950's, maybe, but it seems a bit lame now.

(My wife-a nice jewish girl-and I -an OK gave-it-up catholic-were married in a Quaker marriage in 1993...not a reporter present, either!)
Media, please let them alone now, and couple, have a long, happy and private life together.
