Republican candidate calls for coup and/or civil war if GOP loses in November
If the Congress doesn’t dramatically change its complexion and significantly increase its courage, then the military is our next resort and recourse. Now if the military won’t act, then we will have to act, “we the people.” This may require the blood of thousands of patriots, but we’ve been told for how many years that that’s what nourishes the tree of liberty?

(SNIP)

This is way beyond treason here. We’re talking about war. We’re talking about total war. Obama and his gangsters are waging war against the United States. If there’s anything from this interview that I want to get out, it is that Obama, his gangsters, his regime, and his fellow travelers, handlers and lackeys are engaged in war against us and the United States, and they intend to destroy the United States. That’s what their “fundamental change” means: the destruction of the United States, and that is warfare. These people are committing war crimes, and they have to immediately be taken into custody. They do.

(SNIP)

We’re going to put them in jail or wherever they need to go. It’s not politics; it’s counterinsurgency, and we have to win this one, or the lights go out.

I sincerely think this guy is just crazy enough to say out loud what ther Republicans are saying in whispers. We need to take this kind of talk seriously.

1. Fine, you can have some red states, you asshole. Then when you're totally broke
and drowning in natural disasters, you can try to come begging to the well-off blue states for help. And we'll tell you to go FYE)*Y@U#)($U yourselves.

3. I will vote with great pleasure for Democrats over
any Republican there is.

There's no incentive in voting for obstructionist assholes, which is the definition of a Republican these days.

I'm glad it's the same guy I read about a month or so back because I would be really worried if there were two people as insane and vocal as this guy.

There are others willing to push things that far. Take a look at this:

25. There are goopers all over calling for treason but leading Democrats won't make a stink about it.

We must sleep walk through this election. Making a stink about the GOP's treason would be:

IMPOLITE.

Can't have that.

After all. Only Republicans charge treason.

It's not something Democrats are allowed to do.

We're not allowed to be nationalistic.

6. It is a useful deflection, as well!
Gosh forbid that the people united and turned on the oligarchy rather than focusing on a government that is becoming more predominantly a division of Big Business Inc.

Though this may be a good way to gather votes from the willfully ignorant, it sure serves as great agitprop and a way to keep the class war completely off the table.

8. Treason, genius, is taking up arms against the duly-elected government of the U.S.
How can these nuts who read the Constitution and even cite it utterly fail to understand it?

And to talk so casually about civil war? This, obviously, is someone who has never seen war, or even studied our own Civil War history. And in the revolution he advocates, I guarantee he will not be taking his place on the front lines.

12. So, this Republican candidate who so strongly supports the
Constitution and believes in the power of the ballot box wants to toss the results aside if they don't win?

Effing cowardly bastards are really getting to me. They have talkin' trash down pat.

I'd love to see one in a good old fashioned knock-down drag-out fist fight. NONE of them have the balls to pick up the gun and lead the charge they car clamoring for. NONE of these bastards are willing to spill THEIR blood to water the tree of Freedom, no fucking way, they are too gutless.

They can only incite violence. Chicken-shit cowards....The GOP base love them to pieces.

15. It irritates the hell out of me ...
when some fool decides that the only solution to our problems is to have a revolution.

I think both Democrats and Republicans are upset with Congress and the fact that they pass 2000 page bills without being allowed enough time to read them. I also believe that most Americans feel that too many of the people we elect are bought and paid for by the big corporations. It would be nice if the people we elect would put the voters first. If we get angry enough to show up at the polls, we can elect some people who will.

Our history has had similar times in the past and our system has functioned to allow change without revolution. As long as we can vote and our votes aren't stolen by hacked computer voting machines, we can overcome the problems we face today. We don't live under a tyrant or a dictatorship.

We are nowhere near a time where a revolution should be considered.

16. Everyone Here At DU Should Read This Interview Of This Guy.......
(follow the link in the original post). This guy is a wackadoodle. But what scares me even more are the comments by the people that support him that appear after the printed interview. Someone asked in an above post - where was he when BushCo was in charge. Basically everything he is saying about Obama - if you just changed the name to Bush in its place - applies to BushCo.

Some of the people that made comments are referring to Obama as Oilbama. Wow!!!! I just can't believe that there are people out there that can read and interview and see this guys comments - and still follow him.

28. The very definition of a dictator
Someone who couldn't win a free and fair election is a dictator. And this fellow seems to have so little faith in the United States and its Constitution that if he isn't just handed the reins of power, he'll take them by force. There is a word for people like that. And a criminal charge.
