Diana DeGette finally lost me.
Edited on Tue Jul-27-10 06:25 PM by Hawkeye-X
She voted for the stupid defense bill as did all the other Colorado reps. Embarassing, very embarrassing.

She also endorsed Bennet which pissed me off royally, and I sent her a letter explaining why I disagree with her endorsement.

She may retain another two more years, and I will look for the next Democratic Rep for the 1st, because I want a primary challenger for her. She spent too long in Washington now.

1. I have no idea what you're talking about
But I completely understand your sentiment.

There have been FAR too many so-called "progressive candidates" who have taken that hard-right shortly after taking office, despite the promises of "change in government".

All you can do is keep up the fight.

3. Well, I know what you're talking about ...
... and I agree with you completely.

Frankly, even with as screwed-up as the Repuglican Party is in Colorado, if Michael Bennet wins the Senate nomination next month, I think the Dems will lose that seat. How DeGette cannot see that is beyond me -- except that Bennet represents lots of corporate money that DeGette also probably wants access to.

2. I understand.
But she was also 1of2who voted for the public option today. Small consolation, I know.
