Youtube (Google) Messing with accounts again
So now you have to get a Google account to sign on to Youtube.

Pissed me off so bad I walked away for a week.

Finally I came back and said fine! Sign me up for a Fucking Google account.

It asked for an e-mail address, and a new password (not the password for the e-mail account, but a new one).

Fuck. I already have to keep track of dozens of passwords and now one more?

It didn't like my old password because it was too short.

I was so pissed, I just said fine, you want a new password? How about FuckGoogle.

It liked that.

Then it occurred to me, I bet there are thousands of Youtube accounts out there now with the password FuckGoogle.

I bet I'm not the only clever boy to come up with that.

So I went back and changed it to... (yea, right, like I'm gonna post it here)

Anyway, if you are also pissed at Google, and you also changed your password to FuckGoogle, you might want to go back and change it too.

I bet there are scores of people with that password right now.

1. I'm trying to figure out why I'd want a sign-on at YouTube.
I don't make videos. I just watch them on odd occasions. I also can't figure out why I'd want a sign-on on Google. Their search engine works just fine without logging into it.

10. The main reason for a non-video creator to sign up on YouTube is to subscribe to channels

28. the majority of password theft is done by tricking people into giving theirs away
I am constantly amazed at people's gullibility. The most amusing example I saw was a list of common passwords...with voting buttons for people to say 'i use this one.'

29. Okay
I don't play those games.

And I lied. I am moderately paranoid and have a rather elaborate password system. It's not infallible but if someone wants to crack my code, they're going to have to work as hard as hell to do it.

Saves you the trouble of having to keep track of a dozen of them.

More than once I've gone to a friend's browser, opened up their password cache and said,

So, are these your secure passwords?

I'm sorry, continue to endlessly complain about something that is completely free and no one is forcing you to use. Shit, start a facebook thread, while you're at it.

25. Sorry, someone didn't agree with you?
Gee, whiz, every time *I* start a thread, I do it only with the express understanding that it will be an echo chamber of "right on, man" style total agreement with whatever point I put forth.

Otherwise, if everyone isn't going to agree with me 100% of the time, why bother?

No need for a seperate password or anything like that, at least that's how it works for me.
