I'm sick and fucking tired of Air America hosts who proclaim that they don't fit into any label.

2. WHAT THE FUCK...every time I come to DU I always hear that we don't lock step.

So what is it? We don't lockstep or we must all proclaim to be the same goddamned thing.

3. I don't know
Why don't you contact them and ask? Maybe they want to...gasp! MAKE SOME DAMN MONEY! And if Randi Rhodes and Rachel Maddow aren't avowed Liberals, I'll be damned if I know who is. Hartmann too. All AAR personalities.

4. I believe it has something to do with their advertisers.
They don't get as many advertising $$$$ by programming real honest-to-gawd Lefties as they do with programming mealy-mouth "moderates" for some reason.

A better question would be: Why are far-Righters like Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity, and all the other hate-mongerering acid-spewers so easy to program, raking in the ratings, and the big advertising $$$'s? Why is that? You decide that, and it will answer a lot more questions than the one actually posed in the excellent OP.

5. AAR and XM are on the rocks in my book
XM has consistently dropped the ball with such moves as putting Ed Schultz on in the middle of the day. Plus, their evening lineup of Politically Direct and the other sludge that comes on up until 10 is very sad. And as soon as I like the late night guy, they say they'll move him to 12A-3A- great.

I have keep hearing that Mike Malloy is going to be on XM soon. I still dont know where that is.

6. Also, why is a RW-er, Lionel on right now?

I totally agree with your question, but sad to say, Air America is going to the dogs 3 h at a time. The early morning spot - in NYC at least is already occupied by Bush shill Armstrong Williams. Now, Mr lock&load from fascist WABC...I will listen today - to see if/what makeover he underwent - the little sniveling John Gotti fan.
Well, he'll have Gravel on!

7. The only one on in real time where I am is Schultz and he still seems
to be finding himself. Takes some weird positions - he's not where I am, but he does try to announce late news, though sometimes he's not good at all in discerning the significance of it. A lot of the air goes out of the show for me when I hear a rerun on other shows where they announce something that happened quite a few hours before.

Also, the guests on the Ed Schultz show seems to be all DLC? I don't listen all the time, but I've never heard someone like Jeremy Skahill on the Schultz show.

AAR - so promising. Now, such a mystery about what's going on.

I'm glad I don't have to bother turning off Armstrong Williams - not carried where I am.

I would listen to Bill Press - but not in the middle of the night?

Stephanie later in the morning is good - get's a person laughing, but she's on before the news starts happening for the day.

Armstrong Williams - what is he doing on Air America?

How is all this explained.

I am paranoid about brain washing creeping in where I thought we were going to be able to breath more freely and learn.

8. Armstrong Williams? The "paid for his opinion guy"?
Just shut the damned thing off.
