Her perception of some of these "events" is a bit different than mine.

Is it all bad? NO! Tax Incentives for Renewable Energy, Nuclear Treaty With Russia, Expanding State Health Insurance for Children, The Matthew Shepard Law. These are good things.

HOWEVER


I do not think that the HCR Bill was Anywhere NEAR what could have been or should have been accomplished. I'm sorry, crumbs from the table is not good enough when you had THIS BIG of a majority in Congress, SD. If you're happy with what we got, good for you. I'm not going to cheer lead for something that was FAR less than what we should have gotten, and what COULD and SHOULD have been fought for, and was WINNABLE. (I know, I know, PONY! PONY! PONY! PONY!)

The Stimulus and Bailout of the Banks did not YANK our economy back from the brink, but it did a very good job of covering up the rot, and it HAS delayed the inevitable with another round of artificial, unsustainable Bubble Economics. It worked really well for the giggling Murderer for five years, so I wonder what kind of mileage we'll get from this one? You don't have to answer that, because you think everything's fine and it doesn't exist, etc, etc, etc.

And I will give Helo Ben, Goofy, and this administration MAJOR Props for running one of the most successful Propaganda Campaigns EVER to manage the perception that we are actually in a "Recovery". It's ALMOST better than the "Robust", "Strong and Getting Stronger" Fantasy Economy we had from '03-'08!
