COMIC-CON: Stabbing at Hall H
There was an altercation in Hall H just a couple of minutes ago! A man who refused to switch seats was stabbed by the man sitting next to him. Stabbed in the eye! There was blood everywhere! Security came and arrested the guy. Paramedics arrived quickly.

Panels have been postponed until the blood can be cleaned up. Currently they are running trailers to keep the crowd calm.

Used to help a friend work security there in Autograph Alley during the 90's when Thursday was the preview night and Friday was the first full day; Saturday tended to be the worst day for late afternoon burn-outs - and freak-outs; many people got drunk at the first round of Con Parties Friday night, were wiped, but still hyped up for the Masquarade on Saturday night.
We'd usually see screaming fights, and a little autograph line scuffling; nothing seriously physical though - it would usually be broken up before it got past pushing and yelling to blows.

Two "friends" scuffled and one had his eye scratched (apparently with a pen - mightier than the sword, you know...) seriously enough to be taken to the hospital. :(
