WEST PALM BEACH — "Gazillionaires go home!"

That's the message 300 health care workers from the Service Employees International Union conveyed to Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Scott and Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Jeff Greene at a rally Friday afternoon.

Marching from the Palm Beach County Convention Center, down South Rosemary Avenue toward CityPlace's plaza, the protesters said Scott and Greene were not in tune with workers' needs. The protesters -- many of whom were bused in or drove from around the state -- urged workers to flood the polls for the August primary and November general elections.

"These guys don't share our values and we are going to let them know that we are going to march to the polls and send the message that they can't buy our votes or our state," said Monica Russo, 45, president of SEIU's Florida Region.

Russo and other protesters said they felt Greene and Scott were trying to use their money to persuade voters to support them and as a result were neglecting the needs of working families. Many highlighted that Green made millions betting that subprime mortgages would default during the housing crisis.

1. I'm sick of both of them
Meek is starting ads on Tuesday. Can't wait!!

Oh yeah and McCollum is letting Scott win. He thought he had this in the bag and lo and behold Scott comes out of nowhere and puts his money into the ring. You do have to ask yourself, why does someoen spend so much money on a job that pays far less than that??

2. I ask the same questions. McCollum truly did think he had this sewn
up but there is that bubble in Tallahassee that blinds them. I hope Meek's numbers improve after the ads start.

7. After reading the report of Jeff Greene's 140' yacht gouging a 20' x 200' hole in Belize's reef
I found a Democrat that I can truly hate. His response? Never Happened. I wasn't there. Not my fault. Even though it was well documented.

Another rich asshole who knows he can get even richer if he's elected. I hope he's annihilated in the election.
