Just so we're clear

A few things about this whole issue with Andrew Breitbart, Shirley Sherrod, and racism:

1. Breitbart's original, specific claim was that he had video evidence that the NAACP was racist.

2. The wildfire spread of this claim and the edited video was immediate, reactive, and national in its scope.

3. The edited video was a political hit job timed on the eve of the Georgia state primary elections, designed to achieve maximum political impact against those who claim racial injustice is being done by the Tea Party and other conservatives.
