Poll question: What privatization should we embrace?
Aren't you tired of justifying American socialism? From now on, those who want goods and services should pay for them directly. What good or service needs privatization the most?

7. i've been here since DU began, and if there are people saying that, they are most likely fakes.
we have had infamous trolls who kept cover for *'s entire first term, then flamed out after the 04 election.

doesn't make sense to me but stranger shit has happened here.

25. Thats not how it works. The government just subs it out and hands out public funds
All your examples seem to miss the crux of privatization, which is just a handout to private industry to perform the services government can do at half the price and twice the efficiency.

5. I support none of it.
Every option you've provided makes a bad decision if privatized.

10. The only reason anyone ever wants to privatize anything is greed
Someone will make money off privatization.

Just think, get someone else (the government) to create, develop and perfect a business then have your crony buddies in the government farm that business out so you can make boatload of money without investing a fucking dime.

Yeah, privatization is great if you the one making the profit from the people.

26. You forgot prisons. I want the prisons to be privatized (and not subsidized by the public).
When the privatized prisons have to raise their money from the prisoners... then only the rich will be imprisoned. (I think that's called supply and demand... ;))
