Poll question: Should the Republicans recapture the House of Representatives
will they find/fabricate a reason to impeach President Obama?

1. I think they will do their best to make that happen.
I don't know that they will actually find a reason to do it but they will certainly try.

6. I agree there is no basis but they will keep pushing like they
did with Clinton. And then he goes and does himself in.

2. They will try pulling some stunts but I don't think they'll be successful. They just
want to bog Obama down with investigations and to take the spotlight off of their lack of ideas...

3. They will investigate out the wazoo...
They do not care if it passes the Senate.

Politics is War. Investigation and impeachment are, to them, legitimate tactics.

4. Of couse the Senate will be a blockade
since the GOP is highly unlikely to take control there.

5. The point is not to remove Obama from power.
Edited on Sun Jul-18-10 03:23 PM by Ozymanithrax
The point is to stop Democrats from doing anthing, and set up the 2012 election.

If they win the Congress we will see wall to wall "gates." There will be no real attempt to actually do anything about issues affecting American people, well except for tax cuts.

There will be a lot of tax cutting going on.

7. They'll no doubt pussyfoot around and a few half-hearted attempts will be made
but ultimately no attempts to impeach the President will escape the House unless he ACTUALLY does something wrong.

8. Do not know about Impeachment: Issa is salivating for subpoena
power already wanting an investigation of Obama.

I say one investigation leads to another to another.

9. They will find something, no matter how ridiculous
And shamelessly use it.
