CBO concludes that huge deficits are the result of two things: Tax cuts and defense spending. All the wasteful entitlement programs the righties have been screaming about lately contribute a whopping 15%. I wonder if our good buddy Bill O'Lielly (you know, the guy who just last week claimed that entitlement spending was the one and only reason the deficit was so huge?) has seen this report. I'm sure that once he does, he'll report it as his top story come Monday evening. He WILL do that, right? I mean, since he's all about "no spin" and all.

I suppose now all the "deficit hawks" will start yelling about ending the tax cuts and cutting defense spending now that the truth is out there, right? I'll just hold my breath and wait for that to happen.
