Tea Party lost all races in Alabama!
Edited on Fri Jul-16-10 06:58 AM by Syrinx
Rachel Maddow was making fun of Dale Robertson (shotgun), Rick Barber ("gather... your... armies"), and actual contender-at-the-time, Tim James.

And she made fun of them. It was hilarious.

But the most interesting thing about the Republican primaries in Alabama was that the tea-partiers all lost. In Alabama.

Every one.

3. When you think about it--the Tea Party only won 2 spots in all
the Primaries. Angle, Paul. Haley in SC did not call
herself Tea Party , rather anti-establishment.

The Tea Party is beginning to look like they only
stay in the news because MSM keep them there.

4. Bingo!
The same goes for the former Half Governor of Alaska. Both have approval ratings of less than 30%, yet they're being treated like some sort of national phenomenon. Nothing but creations of the media.

BTW, add one more to that list. The guy who beat Bennett in the Utah Senate primary. I believe he was a teabagger, or at least had ties to them.

disappears and becomes a joke in future history books.

7. Ga's primaries aren't until the 28th. And we have a lot of 'baggers running, especially in the

state legislature.

The thing about the Tea Party is that you can apparently attend all of their events and openly promote them yet not belong to them. For a candidate, the teabagger mantle can be put on/cast off whenever necessary.

I don't think the Tea Party has defined what it stands for thats different from the mainstream GOP either, and that will probably be their undoing. Its just the same empty rhetoric, but with the volume turned up to 11.

11. I agree
Here in Oklahoma, the GOOPer primary candidates are all falling over themselves telling everybody how conservative they are, even though they don't call themselves teabaggers. Perhaps if they win the general election, they'll crow that it was because of their teabag association, but maybe not until.

13. How do you know they lost? How do you know they didn't lose worse?
Answer: you don't. AL has a faith-based election system based on unverifiable or unverified voting machines that are extremely vulnerable to fraud, coupled with a ruling elite that is not just capable of fraud and criminality but definitely disposed to commit both.

19. Actually this is not a good thing.
I would rather have a dem running against a looney-tunes tea party candidate than a run-of-the-mill republican..
