I took a few months but she joined a union in a right to work state

This goes back several months. A member in my shop is a pro union green card Canadian. He kept saying his wife was anti union. I finally got him to ask her why as a favor to me. I have done things for Bill several times at work as he has done things for me. Well she wasn't so much anti union and it was she didn't know anything about them. The dues are to much. So he asked how much they are? She didn't know, she just figured it was high. Turns out they are $6 a check, a total of $12 a month. She joined the teachers union. She is an aide. People started inviting her to drinks after work, shopping, etc. The atmosphere to her is much better in the work place too. Just because she didn't know about unions, and was afraid to ask. I took her and Bill out for drinks one night after work two weeks ago. I got a thank you for making her workplace much friendlier. Somehow I forgot to post about the experience. I'm getting older.
