Bill Richardson's plan for Iraq... its the best one I've heard yet...
"If I were President today.. I would be out of IRAQ by the end of the year with NO residual force"...

Thats just one choice quote from his session with Move on, there are several others. While he may not be considered "top-tier" by most politicos out there, his expertise in recognizing what its going to take to un-do or "fix" what chimpy has broken is apparent. Too bad the rock stars running can't speak as plainly and to the point.

The clip is just over 3 mins... please give it a listen.

2. He may not be considered "top tier"
but I don't, at this point, rule out the idea that he may be the nominee. He's not my ideal candidate, but we could do worse.

6. He's smart, experienced and is pragmatic
if he wins the nomination, I wouldn't have to hold my nose quite as tightly as I would with some others. If he doesn't gain the nom, I hope to see him as Sec of State at least. He'd be an excellent SoS.

7. same as Kucinich in my view. He says out by end of year
Kucinich has signed on to two bills which take effect in 90 days and take no more than 180 days afterward to fully implement

8. But it's not just the Iraq situation that I like about Richardson.
He has a pretty good handle on the world and is an internationalist with credentials who probably can repair our image better than the other candidates because of his skill sets. I also like the idea of medicare at age 55. I have to say he and DK lead with me right now.

9. Richardson came in second, behind Edwards in the MoveOn
video town hall last month. That was the folks who actually watched all eight videos together. The next day, when MoveOn allowed the rest of their mailing list to vote, whether they had seen all of the videos or not, HC and Obama took over 1st and 2nd places. What do you think that says about how Richardson does amongst people who have not already closed their minds to anyone but the one they've already decided is their candidate?

.....................

I agree, Richardson's plan for Iraq IS the best!
