I finally GET Faux Snooze
I had to watch it during breakfast, seeing as to how the ship's captain watches Faux, and it finally dawned on me.

"news" is meant to inform (or push propaganda), but what Faux does is COMPLAIN!!!
They complain about school districts that don't want prayer...
They complain about the Dems in Congress...
They complain about "liberal" this and "socialist" that...

There's no wonder they spawn nothing but ignorant hate mongers. All they do is bitch and moan and portray white Bible thumpers as victims.

Sorry I'm so late to the show, but I had tried to avoid Faux as much as possible.

1. I made a friend a few years back who was pretty oblivious to politics...
(Like that's a rare thing. *sigh*) And he had trouble remembering, would often ask me "are we liberals or conservatives?" So I finally told him that the way to tell the difference is that the conservatives are the ones who want to tell everyone else what to do. x(

2. I don't have to watch Faux, all I have to do is go to the coffee

shop in the morning. I just listen for the complaint of the day. That's what they do they find someone in some backwater shit hole that claims they sent their kid home from school for praying or some other shit. They have the outrage of the day that Faux feeds them every morning. It's all about fear (they) are going to take my guns, religion, convert my kids to gay, take my money etc.

3. They "Create News"...
You've just visited the parallel universe...a place based on talking points and wet political dreams...where American "exceptionalism" and the power of the white christian male reigns supreme and the rest of the world is jealous and out to get them. It's part of a larger media machine...sometimes called the "Mighty Wurltizer" of coordinated use of Faux, hate radio and right wing rags and websites to create their own "reality"...including their own "news" and controversy. No facts needed as they've perfected the art of the big lie...say it loud enough and long enough, people will believe it...and you can always get away with the lie cause by the time its refuted the word has already gotten around the world while the retraction, if there is one, is days or weeks and burried.

It's "feel good news" for those who have entered this alternative world...their daily affirmation and it's become a very effective political tool...especially when used with or against a weak-kneed Democrat.
