Police are searching for a gunman around an Albuquerque solar and fiber optics manufacturer.

Authorities released few details on Monday but say they were searching for at least one person who shot multiple people on the campus of Emcore Corp.

There was no immediate word on how many people where shot or what their conditions might be.

"The shooting at Emcore Corp. appeared to involve the 37-year-old gunman's ex-wife or girlfriend, police Chief Ray Schultz said. It was not immediately clear whether she was among the dead. Schultz said the gunman was a former employee."
