I was watching the Bloomberg channel this morning......
..... Nonstop bitching and whining about how financial regulation will kill the banks and send all the "talent" scurrying out to find jobs outside the financial industry. These people are unreal.

They want the casino to go completely untouched.

1. The sending talent
out to other industries bit is troubling.

Like if they go to work in restaurants there will be massive outbreaks of food poisoning.

5. those IB firms hire all kinds of brilliant math wizards
god forbid they should work at NASA, Wyeth or Verizon and invent something that makes all of our lives better.

there's something to be said about making all that "talent" leave Wall Street and doing something besides moving money from one account to another.

2. Actually when I was watching Bloomberg this morning they were talking about how the lobbying money
spent by banks and financial institutions looks like it was well spent, and will provide significant benefit to the banks

3. Health care reform, part two...
Not unlike the last days of health care reform, the financial fat cats are moaning about our representatives tightening the screws on their orgy of risk.

4. Take away the neon lights on top of those machines in the picture and the New York
Stock Exchange not only behaves like, but looks like the photographed casino!

7. They know that if they whine loud enough they will be heard...
They are the biggest babies in our society. Unfortunately, because of their power, they will be heard. This has now become a repuklian "talking point".

I'm so sick of these people I could puke.
