The first Tea Bagger: James Earl Ray
Reading a fine book now, Hellhounds On His Trail, written by Hampton Sides. Ray did not work (too much trouble). It would cut into his drinking, womanizing, and traveling around. He was a John Bircher. He was filled with irrational hatred. Worked for George Wallace's presidential campaign. Stalked M. L. King. He could be a patsy or any other whatever, but he was a Tea Bagger. Wallace supporters were buying up weaponry. Someone asked one of them who he needed to defend himself against. The answer "The Rockerfeller interests and the Trilateral Commission." God save us from these creeps.
furthermore he wasn't a racist! Just kidding. I think more than being just racists, the teabagger types are insane to the core.

1. John Wilkes Booth was a quintessential tea bagger.
The party of Lincoln is becoming the party of John Wilkes Booth.
