We need to bear witness to this. Yesterday I posted about Kevin Costner's centrifuge machines being deployed on a large skimmer and it didn't last long.

those of us on the Gulf can not let these images die..as our Gulf and Gulf Coast are dying because of the greedy fuckers and our government who did this to her! and to these precious wild life ..

I see these pictures and I scream it makes me so angry..and then I cry ..

My back yard is the gulf and I want each and every American to have these images burned into their memories..because today it is on the Guf..but one day they will be faced with the Oily Rain and snow and their vegitation will be effected ..and their birds will migrate here..and if they return they will have the toxins in them!

8. Thank you for posting this (and also the warning).

We have to keep this front and center for as long as we can. Between the workers killed the first night, the people who are being poisoned every day by the toxins, the loss of livelihoods and the dead fish and animal life, we can't let people forget.

IF this leak is stopped, prepare for the media and the government to announce that all is well and that it wasn't as bad as first feared. There are going to be some major CYA maneuvers that will be used to make this go away ASAP.

I'm hoping that serious long term studies will be done on the consequences of this crime, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

A lot of Americans will fall for it as usual. They'd rather hear what inane things Lindsay L. or Mel G. are up to than hear real news reporters reporting on real news.

of this epic tragedy I feel a very physical, spiritual and emotional response. And I must wonder if the powers that be have any of those responses or if their only concern is to cover their asses.
