A Mel Gibson-Republican-Hollywood Observation....

Has anyone noticed how the Rethuglicans are avoiding this toxic story for all they are worth? While it may be possible Mel Gibson has some serious problems, it seems to me that if Gibson had been the typical defined Hollywood Liberal instead of the Catholic conservative, the Rethugs would be milking this story for all it would be worth.

2. Nancy Grace was all fired up yesterday demanding that he be

arrested immediately and accusing the LA cops of not doing their jobs. I trust that the police will investigate and take appropriate action.

I'm not sure Gibson is particularly well thought of by conservatives given his recent track record. I don't think anybody wants anything to do with him.
