2. Good Riddance
I wish more child rapists would take this same route before they hurt another innnocent child.

3. I'd be happy to chip in toward the cost of posthumous awards,
thanking them for their contribution to the greater good of mankind, perhaps a cousin of the Darwin Award.

Seems to me that "no longer able to abuse children" is just as useful a category as "no longer able to have children."

4. +1
I have never been in this position (as a parent), but suicide or 'suicide by cop' seems to have more closure to me than worrying about parole down the road. Not to mention the child's recovery from the trauma being enhanced by the knowledge that "he will never come after her again".

5. well good, he wont hurt another child again.

I have no sympathy for someone who would abduct or hurt a child.

I sound like a mean-hearted biotch, but all bets are off when it comes to a person who hurts a child.

8. Yet he walked the streets as a free man because?
I know I am heartless when it comes to crimes involving children, but the recidivism rate doesn't give much confidence.

Even if he didn't touch/hurt her - she had to have been terrified.

7. Thankfully, this less than human creature can never again terrify
another family.

Welcome home, be safe...may this never happen to another child.

10. reading the story at the link in your post says the suspect is alive
he is alive but in critical condition. I hope (if he lives) that he is locked up for good.

19. Let's say you know a prison guard who's in charge of keeping the kidnapper in solitary.
Edited on Thu Jul-08-10 05:31 PM by Commie Pinko Dirtbag
You hear him say other inmates offered him money to allow them a few minutes with the pervert.

And he refused. He didn't let them and kept doing his job.

What is your opinion about such a guard?

14. To be fair, he says they'll let you die for 1/100th of a penny, but it was 5/100ths of a penny.
But close enough. 8^D

15. They'd better make sure they have the right guy. Would be tragic if he killed himself because
he was scared about going back to prison and there was someone else involved or it was actually a different perp.

18. Shhhhhh... Don't get in the way of the DU blood lust
Someone said the magic word "child". You are immediately required to suspend logic and reasoning.

The mere mention of a child being involved calls for immediate drawing of blood; no trial, no investigation, nothing.

If you are suspected of even looking cross eyed at a child you are now a non human being.

Christ the blood lusters are as bad as the psychopaths they hate. Cut from the same cloth.
