4. Please tell us what is happening
I'm tuning into KNX new radio.

Be safe.

I know that if I feel an EQ here in AZ, it could well be the "big one".

8. It was a big roll for a while. For it to have been that far away, and feel like it did...
I'm thinking it must have been shallow?

Of course, that would make it like me. LOL.

5. 5.7 in Borrego Springs I'm hearing. We're okay. Damn that made the mountain shake.
It seemed to last about 20-30 seconds. Earthquake was about 50 miles from where I live.

I believe that the San Andreas is closer to the coast.

18. I'm sorry. Didn't mean to scare anyone! I was still in the midst of the adrenaline rush I guess.
Where I live there have been some DOOZIES, and every time the house goes creak you start to wonder if it's going to stop.

I'm sorry.

21. You guys are brave
I attended a convention in San Fransisco once (yeah I know WAY north of you but...) I'm not used to that kind of thing so you all get lumped in the 'brave Cali-folk' category in my book...

Anyway, I was in a high rise building in SF on the 21'rst floor when I felt what i thought to be the 'end of the world!!! lol! After calling down to the front desk they calmly said that yes, they/we had had a "minor tremor".

As long as everyone is ok, I dare say that you folks rock. :hippie:

19. Actually, L.A. will one day be where San Francisco is now.
That day won't be here for about 15 million years though.
