Anybody else notice the silence from Beck, Hannity, O'Really, Limbaugh etc. about
The current heat wave on the east coast. They were breying loudly back in January when we had a record snow fall about how that showed how Global Warming was all bunk and Al Gore in particular was full of it. Now I won't be so ignorant to confuse weather with climate as they did but their hypocrisy is so damn blatant here. Record heat and yet not a peep from them yet get a little snow and boy howdy how they prattled on and on and on and on..Notice how loud the silence is now?

1. Over the next couple of decades it will only get worse
but those asshats in their air conditioned palaces DON'T CARE unless they can score political points with the sheeple.

2. It's just a matter of time
When the deaths of the poor and elderly start rolling in they will blame the victims for dying. You know it's going to happen.

3. "Decrease the surplus population"
Scrooge McPubbie will no doubt try to hide the facts from the news, and rejoice in the Social Security and Medicare savings.

6. or how about the fact...
in 1993, water went over the Saylorville spillway in Des Moines, Iowa--due to heavy rains and we were told
that this was a 500 year event.

Well, it happened again in 2008. Then, it happened again last week.

Yeah. No problem with the climate here, folks. When you have a "500-year weather event" three
times in 15 years, it must be due to leprechauns or angry Jebus clouds...or something.

8. those who use Beck, Hannity, et. al as a source
for credible facts are themselves mentally deficient. They lack a substantial number of neurons in their brains to process information, to separate signals from the noise. Beck's radio/TV show is all noise, no signal. But such listeners/viewers are not able to discern the reality.

In a way, you have to feel sorry for them. They are mentally handicapped, intellectually-challenged. Over time, nature will weed the weak-minded out of the picture, but in the meantime, we have to accept the fact that there will always be a certain percentage of idiots who will live among us.

10. This is because people are stupid when it comes to be
schooled in weather, climate etc. When I went to school 60 long years ago, we were taught about how warming would effect the planet. Maybe our teachers were ahead of time but...we were taught that by the ice caps melting, it would cause the Jet Stream to change. The rise of the oceans would cause a lot of islands to disappear. That it could even cause the Gulf Stream to cool and England and a lot of the cost of Europe would cool because they were warmed by the Gulf Stream. We learned that weather would be drastically changed. That we would have more violent weather, that in some areas the Jet Stream would cause MORE COLD WEATHER AND SNOW AND ICE.

I just for the life of me don't understand what they teach kids now in school. 60 years ago for God's sake. if they were that knowledgeable that long ago what happened in all those years. I know....corporations didn't want to spend the money to protect from the harmful emissions that are causing global warming and it was dropped from the curriculum in schools. Just like Texas is trying to re-educate kids in to the fact that republicans rule the waves and did and are doing everything correct and it is the Democrats that are screwing up. AND WHAT MAKES YOU MAD THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH IT.

12. Hate when people blame heat waves on global warming
I'm with you on the weather/climate thing. But if you're going to point to a cold snap and say "See! See! I told you global warming was hoax!" then you ought to man up to it when the weather turns hot. Yet, strangely not a peep from them.

13. the term "global warming" throws people off
It should have always been referred to as "climate change" so dumbasses on fox news would stop pointing their stupid little fingers every time it snows.
