Teen Girl's "Boyfriend" Was Woman, 31

JULY 7--A 31-year-old Ohio woman who posed as a teenage boy is facing felony charges after cops discovered that she was engaged in an illicit sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl who was unaware of the bizarre impersonation scheme. Patricia Dye, 31, is being held in a Warren County lockup following her arrest last week (Dye is pictured in the above mug shot). Police began probing Dye after locating the teenager after she ran away from home. When found, the girl "was with a male subject who was in fact a 31-year-old female," according to a Springboro Police Department report. Dye, posing as a 14-year-old, used the aliases "Matt Abrams" and "Matt Lewis," and lived in a motel. A second girl told cops that she dated Nye for about a week, and that "she knew Dye as a male and not a female." It is unclear how Dye--who has been charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, among other counts--met the teenagers. A police report lists Dye as 4' 11" and 120 pounds, and her occupation as "unknown." She is currently being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.

The girl ran away with Dye. I don't understand how she can be charged with unlawful sexual conduct and contributing to the delinquency of a minor if the 16 yr ran away and had sex with Dye willingly? Can someone explain?

Maybe things are different in Whoa-hio, but it seems to me like you're referring to a "Romeo and Juliet" clause, not an age of consent statute.

Anyone younger than 16 can not. There was a certain 17 yr old young lady that was enamored with my 15 yr old son. So much so that she came to my house not once but twice to partake in pleasures of the flesh with him. I caught them the second time and told them it was to never happen again.

Well, when the shit hit the fan with the young lady's boyfriend (because she told him about it), the young lady claimed it was rape. The boyfriend of the young lady went to the school principal (who was a close friend of the young lady's family) and as a result was reported to the police. When I was told that my son was accused of raping this young woman by this principal, I was livid. I asked him that if she was raped, why did she come back to my house for a second round? Then I informed him that the age of consent in Michigan is 16 and that my son was only 15. Then I asked him if he wanted to tell me again who was raped?

When the police did finally com knocking at the door, the officer told me that he understood what can happen with young people in high school and that if I told him that this matter was resolved, he had nothing more to talk to me about. My reply to him was, "the matter is resolved." When I requested a meeting with this principal at the school to discuss what had occurred with my son and his part in it, he was no longer available to speak to me.

Now I don't know if Ohio has a different meaning of "age of consent" or not.

first off, nobody had any sex w. anybody or the 16 yr old would have noticed that her partner did not possess male equipment, i mean they couldn't have even gotten close enough to touch each other thru their pants, it isn't like a teen boy's dick is a soft squishy 60 yr old guy's dick...you KNOW if it's a boy or not or a pair of socks stuffed in front...

second off, who committed the crime here? t he age of consent is 16 then the 16 yr old can consent to sex BUT surely she is the one playing the part of the child molestor if she's trying to get it on w. a 14 yr old...

honestly i don't see why the police are involved in this, a good psychiatrist maybe but the police?

if the 16 yr old feels stupid for being fooled (and she prob. should) she's definitely a sicko here, since she BELIEVED she was going to get it on w. a 14 yo
