1. Why won't those gays stop pushing for marriage and just settle for civil unions?
:eyes:

2. Because....
Separate but equal is wrong and denies them their full rights as citizens of the United States. Why don't you understand that?

I'm sure he was being sarcastic.

5. I know. I was being sarcastic.
Sorry if that was unclear. The point is the duplicity of the Right in arguing against marriage equality by saying "Oh, you should just stop being fussy and settle for civil unions", and then turning around and opposing those, too.

3. She is a fucking GOP dingbat.
Who is not popular here at all. On top of that, yesterday she refused to acknowledge the fact that tax increases are greatly responsible for the improved economic situation in our state. She couldn't bring those pencil thin republican lips of hers to give credit where credit is due.

She is a disgrace.

9. Don't know for certain, but I don't think so.
If I recall correctly, it was fairly close when passed.

13. A legacy of hate and bigotry indeed.
I read her "rationalizations" for her decision. Bottom line: she hates gay people. It's the "ick factor" once again. OUR legal rights should NEVER be decided on the basis of someone's hatred.
