Rove Admits His ‘Shadow RNC’ Attack Group Functions Largely Because Of The Citizens United Decision
http://thinkprogress.org/2010/07/06/rove-citizens-united-crossroads/

Given the weak leadership of Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, former Bush White House adviser Karl Rove launched a “shadow RNC” in April called American Crossroads, vowing to spend $50 million to influence this Fall’s election. After an embarrassing first month of fundraising, Crossroads raised $8.5 million in June, “from an even split of individuals and corporations.”

On Fox News today, Rove directly credited his group’s success to the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision, which overturned the decades-old ban on corporate money in politics:

3. What else is New?
Citizens United is the formal acceptance that the Fortune 500 now rules America, with the annoying middle step of actually getting us to elect which corporate cocksucker we want to keep screwing over 90% of the country so that their masters can get rich.

Rove is their highly visible, totally unprincipled poster child, not much more. The 310 million citizens of the United States have been made irrelevant in our political system, in large part thanks to that douchebag, who deserves a warm place in hell for when he gets there, if for no other reason than the fact that the guys he got into power decided to kill tens of thousands of innocent people just to fulfill hard-on to destroy Saddam.

Not from "an even split of individuals and corporations".

I sense that those "individuals" were the CEO's and senior executives of those very same corporations.
