I did not know this until I filled up this afternoon and saw the very small sign that said BP. I always have used Arco. That is now in the past.

Am I the only idiot?

Please pass this along if there are others that might not know.

5. How could you be expected to know? Before this nightmare, we had no reason
to hate BP any more than we hate the other oil companies, and certainly less than we hate Exxon Mobile :)

But come to think of it, it HAS been 70+ days, I guess you *are* kind of late to the party. Or haven't been reading DU. :7 :hi:

6. I'm late, not reading and probably should be a bit embarrassed.

7. Well at least you know a BP well exploded in the Gulf of Mexico, and I swear
some people I've run into barely recall hearing "something about it".

You're just fine - no need for embarrassment!

8. How many of us know all the intricate interconnections
of every thing and place that we are supposed to be boycotting?

Oh, does anyone have an exhaustive list of all these places we are supposed to be boycotting, along with all of their interconnections and subsidiaries?

Maybe it would be more simple to have a list of what we are allowed to buy or patronize.
