Says we need alternative energy sources. We have no control right now.

Hes calling for taxes to spur alternative energy.

4. Well then, Bush will invade just to make his oil friends happy.
It better not come to war with Iran. It is not needed at this time. We can negotiate with them and we have the time to do so. $5 a gallon will cripple the economy. $3 dollars a gallon caused the economy to come to a near standstill in the fall of 2005 (post Katrina).

8. There goes the rest of george's "base" , maybe even the "haves and have mores".
 Because of course, "expensive" gas is all that matters to some, not the human lives being blown to bits on both sides. :eyes: Good for him! :applause: He won't get much help from the rank and file, one paycheck away from the poor house, repubs with his call for increased taxes for alternative energy. I hope he realizes that.

11. He was probably left leaning before * came along and usurped power.
There are more left leaning people on Wall St than you think - not like DU left. They are in favor of "reasonable" capitalism - not fascism. The 1950's were a reasonable time. One parent could work and truly support a family and people were generally happy. Not so anymore. War has been waged on the middle class by the most unreasonable fascists to come along since WWII.

...and disinformation tonight. That program was rife with unfounded speculation and completely unsupported allegations contributing to the drumbeat of war against Iran, wrapped in a purported liberal/conservative bipartisan package.

Iran is grave threat but we can't do anything. Nice reverse pscyhology.

Now it is Iran that bombed the khobar towers not Osama bin Ladin. Iran abducted and killed the american soldiers. Blah, blah, blah.

Well what can the pretzeldent do about this. we're too weak and helpless, i tell you, the iranians have us over a barrel.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling.
