Christy Travis first saw oil splotched along the beach as she approached the surf at Fort Pickens. Then she turned and saw a bottlenose dolphin in distress.

“It was heartbreaking. Everyone was crying,’’ said Travis, 41, who was visiting with her family from Arkansas when they discovered the dolphin and joined with others in attempt to save it...

I saw on Maddow's show Thursday night that the moratorium they're fighting has nothing to do with the thousands of rigs already in production, it's only about the handful that are still being drilled. So, the moratorium has minimal impact on jobs, or on the economy in the area. In fact, BP's big f*cking mess has a much bigger impact on jobs!

Just another one of those things they don't want to clarify, so it seems worse than it is. And where is the media? Except for Rachel Maddow, I haven't heard anyone bother to clarify this.

Is Rachel the only one capable of investigating and reporting now? Is Rachel the only one honest enough to speak the truth?

And that is not a trained dolphin. I believe he or she did this with porpoise, in effect he reprogrammed his sonic output to accommodate the diver.
