Poll question: Who will other countries blame?
When the destruction from the oil gusher hits foreign shores, will those countries blame BP or the US?

Who do you think should get the blame from other countries affected by the gusher?

1. You're asking two very different questions in a single poll.
I can see the answer too one be very different to the answer for the other.

3. Very obvious that it is both.
The bribed enabler (US Gov't) and the briber enabled (BP)

7. They will blame the US because of non-existent regulations.
Proper regulations would have prevented BP from even drilling in those waters that deep. And BP had absolutely NO plans in case of a malfunction.

8. I am reading these replies and I am amazed in the posts
Just because there might not be a law or regulation against something does not give people or corporations the right to do whatever they want.
Whatever happened to ethics and morals?? Did they just get thrown out the door??
You people seem to be thinking like republicans. Have we drifted so far away from
what is right or wrong that unless there is a law forbidding it we can then
just do whatever we want to others??

13. It's Republican thinking that we should expect a corporation to be
ethical. That's what they promote when they demand deregulation.

A corporation can only ever be expected to do ONE thing, maximize profit.

To expect ANY other thing from them is not realistic. This is why we need regulations and laws to prevent the damage they cause in their effort to maximize profit.

9. They'll blame the U.S., and they should.
The U.S. not only authorized that well and others like it, but the current administration is seeking to EXPAND off-shore drilling.

The wells are there putting the ocean at risk because the U.S. allowed them to be.
