CIA Still Giving Business to Blackwater/Xe ($100 million contract)
CIA Still Giving Business to Blackwater/Xe

Xe Services, the new name for the controversial security firm Blackwater, is not hurting for business these days with the U.S. government. Despite getting thrown out of Iraq, and facing criminal and civil cases for its involvement in a deadly firefight that killed 17 Iraqis in Baghdad in 2007, Xe has won a $100 million contract from the CIA to guards its facilities in Afghanistan and other locations.

The deal follows a $120 million agreement Xe signed with the State Department to guard U.S. consulates under construction in Afghanistan.

A CIA official would not confirm the awarding of the contract to Xe, but did say that two other companies, Triple Canopy and DynCorp International, did bid on the work. A DynCorp spokeswoman, however, told The Washington Post that the company did not compete for the contract.

The guys who run the company have intimate knowledge of things We The People aren't allowed to know and, call it blackmail if you will - they'll continue to be handed our tax dollars to keep them quiet.

9. Why should any of that effect Obama?
Surely Obama couldn't be scared to embarrass Bush.

3. Remember that this November
Apparently we can't afford decent health care
or unemployment
or housing or education or job help
but we can afford to contractors.

5. Obama is a helpless little kitten
and should be immune from responsibility from this, and all other issues.
Please everybody just listen to his words and watch the shiny objects on TV.:hurts:

There are company hands not too happy, there are talented and gifted pros that are fed up with the insanity. Some still employed too! yay!

10. I wonder if they allowed the Mafia to bid on the contracts?
At least they aren't recognized as much in the Arab and Islamic world as murderers of innocent moslem civilians. The mafia vs Xe? Organized gangsters and thugs.

I wonder if the mafia could have saved the govt. money?
