Just as a psychopath reality tests people to see how to manipulate so does the GOP poll
or focus group people to find out their fears/anxieties. Then they come up with wedge issues and manipulate their base. They keep stirring the pot and creating needs that only they can fill with their pundits and "policies". All so that the GOP will have power and rich people will not have to pay taxes.

The Democrats have more empathy and try and fix the actual needs of their base. Be it health care reform or regulations..the democrats don't make up needs in their supporters because there are real problems out there that require real solutions.

There is a chance that someone like Obama could solve a whole host of problems leaving people content. There is no chance that the GOP could do the same since they never solve anything. So freepers will always be unhappy.

How do we tell the wing nuts there is no hope for them? That they'll never feel any relief?

1. They wouldn't understand our criticism anymore than we would understand
their criticism of us.

It is the way it is.

2. They don't care as long as the rest of the country is as miserable as they
are. They are always victims of life even if they themselves are the ones who caused their woes. Their belief is if they can't be happy then no one else has the right to be happy. Add that with their personal greed fault and you end up with a tea bagger who's pissed off but hasn't a clue as to what they are pissed off about so it has to be someone doing something they aren't thats the root of their misery, ie wedge issues, if only there was no such thing as abortion, thats whats causing them to feel miserable all those poor dead fetuses.

Another way their personal greed shows up is their belief that it is ok for being on government handouts but no one else is entitled. They want all of the pie without anyone getting a share no matter how much those others paid for their slice of pie. Unlike us who see the rich as people who rigged the system to gain unfair advantages, they see the rich as people who beat the system and deserve every dollar they earned without the government trying to separate them from their well earned riches.

They are really not complex people to figure out, they are really simple, the first clue is their lack of understanding of humor and satire, which is why wing nut humor isn't funny except in a juvenile school yard bully manner, humor is looking at ones self and seeing the humor in personal failures, to the wing nut humor is someone else's failures and short comings, everyone who isn't like them is the butt of the joke, it falls into the wing nut belief that they are perfect creatures put on Earth to rule over the non perfect creatures.

MediCare/Cade assists the needy

Health Dept reduces odds for plague, etc

We humans need socialism period....unless we live in tiny groups in the forest...which we don't...

The more we work together, the better it will be for ALL OF US

But Bullies cannot handle working togerther...unless it can be clearly shown it s to a hugh benefit ....

7. So they are doing research on a real issue and then they actually try to solve the issue unlike the
GOP with their anti-gay, anti-abortion issues. Obama has done a great deal to try and fix the economy. Remember some in the GOP wanted no stimulus. No bailouts. And unlike god, guns and gays the Democrats don't make up needs people never knew they had. I think we can agree that the dems didn't make up the economy as an issue. But they do want to solve it. Because they have empathy for the people whose lives they are investigating with polls and focus groups.
