American workers are the milk cows of the globalist military-industrial complex.
Edited on Fri Jun-25-10 10:22 AM by Zorra
The United States is the "police force" of wealthy and powerful multinational corporate interests. These multinational corporate interests have no allegiance to the government or people of the United States.

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are sustained policing actions. The purpose of these policing actions is for multinational private interests to be able to safely and securely appropriate, sell, and profit from the natural resources of countries whose populace and/or government might be hostile to these multinational interests exploiting the resources of their respective homelands. In reality, these policing actions have little or nothing to do with keeping the people of our country safe. It may be that these policing actions are placing the people of the US in greater danger of being harmed.

As American workers, we pay all the taxes that fund these policing actions undertaken by our government at the behest of private multinational interests. Our resources and military personnel are being used so that multinational private interests can safely exploit the resources of other people's homelands. American men and women are being killed, maimed, and emotionally traumatized in order that multinational private interests can make profit. American workers are collectively laboring and paying enormous sums of money to support these policing actions, money that could be used to help make our country a better place to live for the people of our nation.

Got milk?

Peace.

6. There's no 'may be' about it, and this has been true for a century.
Every day we spill our blood on both of these 'wars', we make our future more dangerous.

All sheep share a common destiny.

9. Maybe, if enough of us realize that we're being gamed,
we can regain control of our government and re-establish genuine democracy.

13. And, we'll keep on paying for many decades. War: the gift that keeps on giving - with interest.
What's another two, three trillion dollars, anyway?

14. War is a racket
General Butler was/is correct.

Most importantly, all the while, our rights as citizens slowly erode due to: the Drug War and the disintegration of the 4th Amendment; corporate personhood; the National Security/Surveillance State, Military Commissions Act, electoral fraud (Florida '00, Ohio '04), etc.

The republic, such as it is, won't last much longer: all great nations and empires dissolve eventually. I don't think we'll be any different.
