Police planting drugs and brutalizing man (video)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNRP9ykiY4A

Just another day on the job. Maybe they have convinced themselves that they are still on the right side of the law, I don't know. Watch the video and draw your own conclusions.

But the easy hand gesture signal they have for planting drugs, and the fact that they do it even while acknowledging their own dashboard cam, strongly leads me to believe that it is so routine that it no longer even seems odd to them.

Watch it yourself. Doubtless those disinclined to believe will see what they want to see. But if you are fair and can achieve some level of objectivity, I believe you will agree with me that the police in this case are on the wrong side of justice and the US constitution.

I will be posting more of these. So warning and heads up.

2. The fact that we're still locking people up for drug possession is insane.
In addition to how insane it is to lock someone up for something that they do solely to themselves, I'd be willing to bet that perhaps the majority of people locked up for possession are locked up because of shit like this. Cops don't think twice about doing crap like this, many (perhaps most) of them are the real criminals. Our justice system is a joke and it's worthless, lying cops like these who make it so.

8. The problem with bad apples is...
one bad apple spoils the whole batch. That basic fact combined with the code of silence makes our current situation of lawless law enforcement.

4. What can we do about it-NOTHING!
Next time they'll plant drugs inside the car or away from the camera. The biggest criminals in our society are the ones with the badges. The fact that they can coordinate between themselves to plant drugs should make people wonder if this isn't the norm rather than the exceptions.

I know it's just a FEW cops, but it's more like the 90% of them give the remain 10% a bad reputation.

6. Keep posting

There was a story yesterday about an entire town (maywood, CA?) that went belly-up because they couldn't afford insurance anymore. Why? because the cops in that town had so many lawsuits won against them.

There is something we can do against police brutality and corruption:

Sue the fuck out of them. Sue. Sue. Sue.

If the "good" cops won't get rid of the bad ones, it's up to us isn't it?

And exposing the horrible cops for who they are is the first step.
