Let's mass-email Drudge
Edited on Thu Jun-24-10 07:37 PM by Mathilda
"Snowstorm shatters local records in Chicago... It's official: Baltimore Snow Record!," Matt Drudge said recently. Since Drudge seems to love posting big bold headlines about climate records (even though snow storms don't necessarily mean colder temperatures), why don't we send him a tip, telling him what he probably already knows but is purposely ignoring: That not only is Washington D.C. experiencing a "scorching heat wave," but it also had its "hottest spring on record."http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/06/23/AR2010062305092_pf.html

These local events shouldn't replace readings of world-wide temperatures, but again, Drudge likes this kind of stuff. So let's give him some ideas. Hopefully this will be top story tomorrow morning!

Go to the bottom-right corner of his page and send the tip. http://drudgereport.com/

1. RW nutjobs in Cleveland went batshit when it snowed ...
in January ... in Cleveland ... said "Al Gore is full of **** about 'Global Warming'" ...

but not long before, a few years back, I wore a short-sleeved shirt to our Christmas party ... in downtown Cleveland ... and walked the 1.5 miles from the workplace to the event ... but no ... no "global warming" there ...

3. So there's your evidence the earth is cooling. Short sleeves two years ago, snow this year.
:)

2. 103 degrees at our home in NOVA today.
This was in the shade. Similar temps for the next few days, with no rain in the forecast.

Drudge will just ignore this, like when Obama's approval goes up. He's pathetic.
