grrrrr... Andrea Mitchell is gleefully touting
Obama's 'lowered' approval numbers. Given the constant, unrelenting and deliberate obstructions delivered by the GOP, it's rather remarkable that the numbers aren't lower. And they're selling their obstructionism as HIS failures, while completely ignoring his hard-won successes.

If today's Republicans - and their media shills - had been around in the 1930s-40s, they'd have swiped FDR's wheelchair and dumped him in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue, and then accuse him of not walking. And they'd brag about it.

4. Yeah, I don't watch MSNBC before The Ed Show and I don't watch
the others except Anderson Cooper on CNN occasionally. I'm listening to Thom Hartmann instead, who is far more informative. Right now he has Helen Ratner on, a reporter who attends the daily White House briefings and she's giving the latest news out of there and out of Congress.

7. why do we tolerate her conflict of interest status?

Republicans would never allow a reporter with that kind of conflict to remain employed. They would drive the person out with great hoo-hah.

Let's get rid of her!

8. Oh, let her chortle
And then she'll be completely quiet when the numbers move back up in a week. The McChrystal -> Petraus thing will probably help his numbers. Heck, the US moving to the second round in the World Cup will probably help Obama's numbers. The numbers just cycle up and down according to the news of the week. Since the President Approval number went below 50, as much as above, on Gallup, back in November of last year, the floor seems to be 45. Approve still seems to be higher than disapprove most of the time.

Watch the Gallup Daily trend line:
http://www.pollingreport.com/obama_job.htm#ObamaJob

None of the polls really matter until that one day in November every couple o' years.

13. They did try to overthrow FDR's government remember??
Prescott Bush and some of his big corporate robber barons. The only thing is they picked the wrong guy to do their dirty work. Smedley Butler loved this country and would have nothing to do with it. He also reported it to the press and like always, the press let the story die....Bush went on to win a seat in congress. Just like today same old story.
